At Pod we understand and carefully consider that children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates. We provide an environment that is responsive to your child’s capabilities in order for all children to experience feelings of success and accomplishment.
At Pod we are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life. We believe that children learn best in a quality environment that is happy, nurturing, engaging and safe.
We recognise the importance of our role in guiding and teaching children how to protect and honour our natural world for future generations. This has laid the foundations for the unique design of our Pod Early School and integrated playscapes.
Our emergent curriculum promotes hands-on opportunities for children to engage with others, explore, use imagination, problem solve and make decisions in order to make sense of their world.
In addition to this, we provide optimum opportunities for all children to be successful learners for life. These include; Language classes, Integrative whiteboard technology for early Science and Maths programs, Gardening classes, Cooking classes, Fitness classes and Yoga classes.

Building inclusive partnerships with families and our wider community is an important process that develops over time.
It is our belief at Pod that by creating a welcoming environment for our families, Educators, local community, Elders and our professional partners we can collaboratively make decisions that will establish the ongoing priorities for children’s learning.

With children’s health and wellbeing in mind, Pod will have an in-house, professional chef preparing fresh and nutritious meals for your child, consistent with the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
We use seasonal and local produce and encourage children to tend to our sustainable gardens so that we can enjoy the fresh produce and social interaction with our friends in our outdoor Chow House. Any specific dietary requirements will be carefully reviewed and planned with your family.

We know how important play is for learning. It’s such a beautiful way to support children’s wonder and curiosity.
Our playscapes at Pod have been carefully considered and professionally designed to ensure that children of all ages are able to interact in meaningful life experiences in our beautiful natural surrounds. Teaching children to recycle, care for animals and tender to sustainable gardens is part of our belief in building environmental awareness and a strong education platform for social responsibility.
